The BMSN CAM established only in October 2018 are now recruiting new members. As of posting they had 62 applicants and only accepted 59 to join the seminar-workshop on September 8, 2019 as a welcome activity for the new members.
The vision of the CAM is to invite the youth to be part of the Basilica family in the service of sharing their giftedness to the church through arts. The Basilica have various organizations that caters the youth like Knights of Sto. Nino, Augustinian Vocation Promoters, Lectors and Cantors Ministry, Cofradia del Sto. Nino Youth but it never had an organization solely dedicated to the care of the youth.
With the existing organizations, it limits the youth to serve the specific vision and mission of the ministry. Meanwhile, CAM aims to empower the youth and be relevant to the signs of the times through using the new arena of New Evangelization, the social media. They would be creating contents for the different platforms available in the new world.
Moreover, CAM also aims to be relevant to the society particularly in reaching out remote communities by sharing common goods and talents.
The ministry is now very excited for these new members to be part of the family dedicated to serve God through arts.
